Natalie Slade, the Aussie born, Sydney-based vocalist and songwriter is set to release her well anticipated album on Eglo Records.
Joining a back catalogue of music from Fatima, Four Tet, Shafiq Husayn, Funkineven and more, Natalie Slade joins the Eglo roster with her debut single, ‘Love Light’ – produced by Hiatus Kaiyote’s Paul Bender.
Natalie previously provided vocals on Steve Spacek’s Natural Sci-Fi LP and Mov CLSR EP (Eglo Records, 2018), as well as a collaboration with Katalyst.
Her solo debut with the help of Simon Mavin from Hiatus Kaiyote is set to provide more sweet candy-infused tones of jazz and soul. ‘Love Light’ offers what London on a summer’s day is all about. For the summer that we are all yearning for, this new release emulates a 1920s songstress with ease, infused with sensuality. Natalie sounds beautiful on ‘Love Light’ and we’re excited to hear a lot more from her.
Top tip for listeners of Fatima, Charlotte De Santos, Yasmin Lacey, Joyce Wrice, Kadhja Bonet, the album is set to be released on June 5th with her ‘Love Light’ single out on May 1st.
